No, to the best of my recollection.

Not sure- the screensaver kicked in and froze. Don't know what was going
on underneath, DIdn't think to try telnetting in.

It aborts immediately:
astrophel.mit.edu# /etc/athena/update_ws
Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno, h_errno or _res directly. Needs to be fixed.
