If you don't want people to just spit something out without mulling
over it for a while, you've got to make it palatable. If you don't
care whether people read your spewage, that's fine (at least in a
meeting like this whose charter includes catharsis), but it's silly to
argue with their complaints about the aftertaste. It's this
repetitive line-by-line bitching and posturing that really makes it
look like you're spewing without a (new) point.
Not that I really care - I'm mostly just posting because this
discussion reminded me of how I tend to skip rdshydur's posts.
Sometimes reading them feels like trying to shove mud into my skull
through my ear. I was going to use that observation to make some
point about this being "nothing personal" but I think someone already
covered that.
