adwright does express well thought out ideas, they're just really hard to fish u
out of the obscenity.
he stated that he was expressing his opinions, not an argument-he wasn't trying
to persuade anyone of anything--- but is this an appropriate forum for
verbal catharsis... i think that's why it was set up....
oh well. i find adwright's stuff hard to read, and pretty offensive too,
but he does have a right to say these things, and i have a right to be
offended by the manner in which he says them.
the language he uses does make me a little less inclined to give him
credibility though...
(but to extrapolate- my writing in these discussions is also pretty poor,
and i don't discredit all my own ideas and opinions... i don't think
everyone out there discredits my ideas because i write them poorly-
at least i hope not...)
about the original subject- i've been in jobs that made me feel like i was
compromising my integrity- and i have to say keep looking Abbe, it wreaks
havoc on your sense of self to be doing something you find abhorrent...
and earning money and praise for it too! yuk. makes ya' become disillusioned and
cynical in a most unpleasant manner.
