Things might be different now, but I really didn't find that 8.02 was needed
for 6.002 (I screwed up 8.02 royally and got a hidden B in 6.002, the same
term). 18.03 WAS useful for 6.002, though, but 8.02 was listed as a prereq
and 18.03 wasn't (probably because 18.03 wasn't a requirement for 6-3).
Of course, this was 7.5 years ago, so it might have all changed now...but
somehow I doubt it, at least for 8.02 and 18.03.
