Hi all. I have an opportunity to pick up a 4G/8G SCSI Seagate Travan
CTT-8000 drive for like $139.
It looks like the data rates are as good (bad?) as its IDE equivelant. I'm
looking for a workgroup backup device, don't want to spend $600 on a drive,
and would also like to keep the tape costs as cheap as possible.
Anyone have any opinions about this drive? I think the tapes are QIC-3095
format, which means they are about $30/piece?
Thanks,
Dave
