For the record, for the 5.2 and previous linux-athena installs I had
everything (save the RPMs and hdlist, which got generated
automatically) under CVS control. Not only did I have the server
installer code under CVS, but the bootdisk as well. In addition, I
had a set of Makefiles that would allow you to:
1) Build a new bootdisk
2) Update the install server
3) Do all of the above
Obviously you needed the right permissions to perform the functions.
Unfortunately, whoever started the 6.2 installer work did not follow
my previous examples. I had started with a 'cvs import' of the pure
RedHat sources and worked from there. One benefit is that is Red Hat
keeps the basic installer similar, your changes can get merged from
release to release.
Anyways, just my $.02 (yet again ;)
