I actually have inquired both at Applix (via Sanjay) and Red Hat; Sanjay
referred me to Red Hat, who e-mailed me but never responded to my subsequent
query.

Agreed.  If it helps, the major platforms would be for Suns, SGIs, and 
Linux...
