This SSL failure happened again this morning, on my first launch
of Firefox, when I tried to access a https: site.

Interestingly, I can fix the problem by restoring yesterday's
cert8.db file from my AFS backup volume.  This is interesting
becuase it implies that Firefox is corrupting the file during
startup, instead of during shutdown.

I don't know how to read data from "Berkeley DB Hash" files, but
I've put the bad and good cert8.db files in ~~jmorzins/firefox-cert
in case anyone wants to look at them.
