These are expected errors occurring when populating devices
in the target root, while booted in the install miniroot. They
occur because our cnboot device drivers properly exist only
in the miniroot. I considered doing something to suppress
these errors (e.g. redirect standard error, or remove the
cnbdrv devices before running devfsadm), but decided that
might make it harder to debug tricky install problems.

This is apparently normal install-info verbosity. We suppress
these diagnostics in our Linux rpms; I will submit a patch
to do likewise on Solaris.

You may be referring to the following complaint I have seen when
yhe SUNWmcon package is installed during the update:

ERROR: information for "SUNWtcatu*" was not found
cp: cannot access /root//server/lib/servlets-ssi.renametojar
ERROR: attribute verification of </root/server/lib/servlets-ssi.jar> failed
    pathname does not exist

I don't consider this to be a high-priority problem (SUNWmcon is
the "Java Web Console" package, and I don't imagine many people
will care if it doesn't work flawlessly), but I will investigate
it further when time permits.

Thanks for reporting these.

Bob
