Hi,
This is a known problem; these instructions were sent to the
list earlier this week; they should work for you:
To recover your machine at 8.4, I believe this will work:
* stop the boot at the prom (using stop+A)
* setenv boot-device disk
* boot
With any luck, this problem should be fixed by late next Wednesday and
you can update to 9.0 then; I will also try to remember to let you
know when we have fixed it.
