A drawback to setting MANPAGER not to run 'ul -b' is that certain man
pages will look terrible, as more will use reverse video instead of bold
for underline.  For an example, try 'man getspent'.

As the input problem we're working around by setting MANPAGER is more
annoying, there's probably nothing we want to do about this.  I will
note that setting MANPAGER to run less makes the getspent page, at least,
look fine.
