Thanks for the helpful information about xterm's terminfo file missing
the smul and rmul entries.  I have reported this to sgi as a follow-up
to the original bug report on the 'ul' problem.

I think we generally refrain from replacing OS software in the
release unless necessary.  And, the pages look somewhat better
using bold instead of underline.  (That's what sgi intended, in
piping through 'ul -b' by default).  So we'd probably prefer to
see if we can get a fix for the ul bug.  Hopefully, we will also
get a fix for the xterm terminfo, some day...
