Fwiw, IRIX release notes are online, accessible via the relnotes command.
Without arguments, relnotes lists all packages with release notes
available. 'relnotes IRIX' is a good starting point. grelnotes is
a graphical interface to the release notes; out-of-the-box IRIX also
has a web interface, but we turn it off.
