Hi Tom,
As promised, I'm checking in with an update on the windows server
document review.
Currently, I have reviewed and updated all of the top-level documents
in the draft server directory:
https://web.mit.edu/is/dontindex/server/
backup.html
deciding_factors.html
essential_tasks.html
general_recommendations.html
group_policy_intro.html
index.html
intro_to_options.html
monitoring.html
request_forms.html
supported_network_configs.html
supported_os.html
I have reviewed and updated all documents in the independent and
workgroup subdirectories:
https://web.mit.edu/is/dontindex/server/independent/
indepdom.html
maintain.html
index.html
detailed_info.html
https://web.mit.edu/is/dontindex/server/workgroup/
index.html
I am about a third of the way through the winmitedu subdirectory, and
should be finished by end of day tomorrow or early on Thursday.
https://web.mit.edu/is/dontindex/server/winmitedu/
If this timeframe has ceased to work for you, please let me know.
Otherwise I'll continue working tomorrow on the documents. As soon
as I have finished the review/editing process for the winmitedu
subdirectory, I'll be in contact. At that point I'll be able to
provide details of what I have done thusfar, as well as offer
recommendations on updates to the request forms. There are a few
questions that I'll have as well, but most of the changes are fairly
straightforward.
Regards,
Kris Nyzio
