Kris,
Thanks for your patience - after several passes through the Windows
Server documentation tree, I would like to take you up on your kind
offer:
> IS Web would like to begin the review of the Windows Server pages
> located at: http://web.mit.edu/is/topics/windows/server
As I understand it, your effort will make sure the files meet IS&T web
standards. They have gone through several hands, and most recently
edited for my legibility. Therefore, let me know if for some reason
they do not read well into your DreamWeaver or other tools or if you
have any further question.
I have two backups, a zip file and a CVS repository. The zip is in:
/mit/is/topics/windows/server/archive/is-windows-server-8Jan04.zip
Windows developers, please take the next few days to review this new
site. You will find much reformatting of old material, but some new
overviews. One missing piece with only a placeholder is "Joining
Servers to the Domain." Certainly there is much more old material to
incorporate here, but I would appreciate your comments and we will
discuss them at our staff meeting next Wednesday.
So Kris, the tree is all yours for a few days. It has about sixty or
so HTML files, but many of those are web-based forms in production.
If you see any of those that need changes, better to first let me
know, or in my absence, Joe Calzaretta, jcalz.
Thanks,
-Tom
