More data on my test case:
1) If I run afstest on both prowler and geskekelud at the same time
(both 9.4.23 suns), I get the null bug.
2) If I make the file that they are logging to somewhat long, then the
bug doesn't trigger constantly. However, if the file is short, it
does. Adding 1000 characters was not sufficient to prevent nulls
from showing up, but adding 10,000 characters *did* prevent nulls
from showing up (over short periods of testing).
