Some offline discussion and testing with Laura indicated we haven't been
able to reproduce this failure with the OpenAFS 1.4.1-rc6 client running
on test.dialup.mit.edu and now on Laura's workstation.
My current plan is to roll out the new client to the rest of the dialups
for further testing before incorporating it into the release.
