Hi,

I've been having some trouble with colormaps in 9.2.x and just updated to
Linux Athena 9.2.16 (I didn't have a problem with 9.1.x for these same
applications.)

One in particular is TSM:

  bash-2.05b# add adsm_v5.1.1
  bash-2.05b# dsm
Warning: Cannot allocate colormap entry for default background.

Without the proper colormaps, the icons are black boxes that aren't very
informative.

I think this may be an X11 problem, but I'm not quite sure how to proceed.

Is there something I need to do to configure the X server?

Prior to my 9.1 -> 9.2 upgrade I used Xconfigurator to set things up. When
I converted I found that the instructions have changed, and I had to run
the X server with some options to get it to configure itself. I suspect I
didn't get all the bits in place, or there are some options (such as video
ram size) that didn't get set right.

Can anyone send me some pointers as to how to proceed?

Thanks,
