What were you trying to do?
invoke "apanel" the audio control panel.
What's wrong:
Attempted to invoke apanel from the shell, and via
the "Utilities" menu of the soundeditor program. In
both cases I got an alert box with the following text:
Could not open audio event queue.
Check permissions on the /dev/hdsp/hdspOevents.
What should have happened:
The audio control panel should have started.
