What were you trying to do?
Hide the Athena console window.
What's wrong:
Only the text, the up and down arrows, and the white bar in
the scrollbar disappear; all fixed elements of the window remain
visible.
What should have happened:
The console window should have disappeared entirely.

Other possibly relevant info:
I have never seen this problem before on any machine.
I am running fvwm2. I set Console*autoUnmap to 15.
The window most recently displayed these messages:
