I agree with Mike too. They should actually teach *useful* circuit techniques in 6.002. Leave the transistor & diode equations for 6.012, and spend more time on getting students comfortable (as opposed to glopping through equations) with circuits. Although I thought they cleared up a few things in .002 that were explained weird in my physics class....
