do to an amazing snafu on the part of scheduling people, two classes which
are required for my degree and are only offered in the fall are offered at
the same time.
this would be less irritating if it weren't for the fact that they're both
very much senior-type classes, and that about half of the xviii-c seniors
(those of us doing 6.170/.035 instead of 6.002/.004) will probably be
affected by this.
so now, instead of 18.404 and 6.035, i have the choice of either
substituting 6.045 for 18.404 or 6.004 for 6.035. yay. so i have the
choice between taking a class which will include a bunch of c.s. types
whining about 'ew...theory...math...ew!' or taking a class that will cause
me to have to deal with stuff having to do with real circuits
('ew...applications...realworld...ew!')
i'm not impressed with the institute on this one. *sigh*
