I heartily agree with most people who have negative comments about
6.002. It is, in my opinion, the most thoroughly useless class in
all of course 6 -- no matter who you are. Software engineers shouldn't
be forced to take it; it has nothing to do with computers. Electrical
engineers shouldn't be forced to take it; 8.02, 6.003, and 6.012 cover
all the material in more detail and with better clarity, and use methods
and models much closer to those actually used by real engineers.
