I guess I didn't make myself clear enough. The overuse of profanity
in your early posts did make them a chore for me to wade through
(because of my irrational taboos), but repetitive Usenet-newbie-style
posting does more to make me pay less attention to someone's posts.

Re irrational taboos: would you find frequent, loud belching to be
rude? Is there any rational reason why anyone would? It may not
actually bother you (it doesn't generally bother me), but would you
really challenge someone for complaining about it? Is there any
rational reason to show respect for the dead? Would you mock someone
who complained about their mother's grave being pissed on? (I'd hope
you realize this, but I'll say it anyway: I'm not saying adding random
"fucking"'s here and there is anything like pissing on a grave.)

If you're going to live in human society, you're going to have to live
with irrational notions of (uh-oh, a prissy sounding word (I wish Miss
Manners et. al. would give up and invent a new one)) etiquette,
manners, etc. Flouting them didn't prove anything except that you
were being obnoxious (everyone already knows the rules are arbitrary).

(Random note: I find it interesting that profanity in writing bothers
me more than in speech. Hmm.)
