Actually, that's incorrect. People requested that it not because they felt
that it fit within the group (being on something depressing; this is, after
all, depressing_thoughts, yes?).

One person's "flaming" is another one's "debating" or "putting-forth".
The word "flaming" is very often used to silence someone with "inappropriate"
views.
"Flaming" is a vague concept, ill-defined, over-used.

I would say rather that
