I'm depressed as all hell that you all are faced with such limited choices
that you have to even _consider_ working in an industry you morally abhor.
As if there weren't about 9 zillion other problems on this planet that
your talent and training weren't useful for.
I'm depressed that every year it looks like funding priorities are
giving you fewer and fewer choices for something that's neither:
"missiles? no problem sir! piss in this bottle? yes sir!
half-full or full-up, sir?"
nor
"uh, you want fries with that?"
Well, at least it's a good thing that your MIT educations are so
inexpensive that you don't have any problems going right out after
graduation and finding impoverished little startup firms doing the
kinds of good things you're interested in.
(let's see who gets fished in on that one.)
