Bill, I am completely unclear on what your point is here. I think also there's a confusion: you're saying, "Fight to make the military better since you can't kill it off," whereas I'm saying that it's wrong to do something you believe is wrong just because if you did it, instead of some bloodthirsty goon, it might not be quite as wrong as otherwise. We're not disagreeing about facts here.
