A few years ago SCEP (Student Committee on Educational Policy) went
around to all the departments and found out what avenues were
available for dealing with incidents of professors breaking the rules.
The intent was to use the committee as a means of putting more muscle
behind student complaints. An answering machine was set up and
advertised in the Tech. Then most of the interested committee members
graduated, and SCEP dropped the project in favor of more interesting
endeavors, like bashing athena.
