I had that problem, too, as a student.  But as an Athena staff member, I find that
the same thing which kept me from being productive as a student (an almost
constant adrenaline high/low) is now making me incredibly productive.  Doing
Athena "Systems Support" takes very little concentration and patience compared to
school.  I also usually don't have to struggle with my feelings when working
on-line...  (Emotional conflict or trying to focus thoughts, and high levels of
adrenaline just *don't* get along.)

Of course, when I have both Athena-work and school-work, you can guess which one
has the unfair advantage.
