I know that there are not too many people on the list, but I was
wondering what other chapters would do in this situation.

In our chapter, the brotherhood can vote to waive requirements for any
pledges.  There is no official obligation, but we consider it a moral
one to complete them when they can.  We have no option to let someone
finish after final vote in, as I understand that some chapters do.

What deals to other chapters have?
