Was hours the only thing she wasn't able to complete? it would seem to
me that certain circumstances could be overlooked (pledge courts and
all).
This situation should be talked/discussed by the brotherhood to see what
can be done about it (if any). True, there are certain "requirements" that
must be performed by pledges before they are allowed to become initiated
into brotherhood, but one must treat each situation/person uniquely and
taken into consideration of the circumstances.

The other option is too allow her to re-pledge but in as a special "pledge"
such that she need only complete the hours she would have completed if
her health was not in question.
