As I mentioned on zephyr, I think in the absence of a policy, on something
like this, Cat as the manager gets to make the call, but it's nice that
she's asking for input.
I think my take is that we probably don't really need a formal policy for
this because the circumstance of someone having a press at home to go
work with is exceptionally rare. But my personal advice would be that if
the person in question is a brother and an operator and has a press of
their own, they're probably able to be trusted with some of the shop's
stuff briefly. So, unless they're asking to borrow items that we don't
have in plentiful supply and there's a reservation coming up before they
would return the items, I think it's probably reasonable to let them
borrow.
