to the best of my knowledge,
we don't have a policy about this
we generally try to develop "policy"
via consensus of the press ops and journeymen
so, what do press ops and journeymen think?

Subject: Stuff from printshop
Today there was a power problem when Kate was printing, and she asked me
whether she could borrow some stuff from the printshop (pins, types) to work
with the press she had at home, and bring them back tomorrow, in case the
facilities guy did not come on time. In the end he did come, although not
very on time, and Kate finished her job. However, I'm not sure what our
policy about taking stuff out of the printshop is. Under what circumstances,
if any, can someone borrow things, and who can do that or let them do that?
