Yes, that's true -- I just hope it will be released soon. My understanding
is that there is only one contractor working on it. How many times have I
heard that "the Mac version" will be released shortly only to see years go
by. A recent example that comes to mind is PowerBuilder. I was at a seminar
18 months ago and PowerSoft said the Mac version would be released shortly
and it still isn't!

I heard James Gosling say at a meeting that Sun was *not* doing a Win 3.1
version because it was much easier to do it in NT/95 because of
multithreading support. I assume NetScape will do a Win 3.1 version when
their "Hot Java capable" browsers are released, but at this point, it's
vaporware.

The Mac has the Thread Manager, but I assume that a Win 3.1 implementation
could be done using a roughly equivalent mechanism.
