Hello folx,

I've been a lurker on this journal/list for about 6 months but I
can't say I've found EXACTLY what I need yet. My dad is gonna get
an 8.4 gig HDD for his Win95 box and give me his old 2.1 gigger.
I have Win95 in mine and ALSO want RHL 5.2. I want to install RHL
on the 2.1 but as a second HDD. A friend says I can install it as
a 1st HDD and then switch the Win95 HDD back as the first but
can't put Linux on a secondary (slave) drive. Does anyone have
experience with this?

Also can BRU or any other backup routine for Linux recognize the
IOMEGA 2GB external tape drive? It's a TR-3 3020 type tape drive,
both SONY and IOMEGA market tapes for it. Also does BRU compress
the data? I know these questions sound damned stupid to some of
you but I don't have anyone else to ask so you folx are my only
hope.

BTW : Can Linux recognize the Canon BJC-250 Bubble Jet/Ink Jet
printer? I have a dot matrix (Panasonic KX-P2023)
but it takes 5 min. a page, BJC-250 4.5 pages a minute. Also I
have Win95 on a 16-bit partition (OSR1, 4.00.950a)
and Netscape COmmunicator 4.5. Can Communicator for Linux
Read/Write the files/folders I create for e-mail?
Finally, where can I grab the CYRIX friendly kernel[s]?

Sorry for such a babbling post folks, JUst don't know
where to begins is all. This is gonna be a
"real" shocker. I have absolutely NO linux/UNIX experience AT
ALL. so speak in english not X-Speak please.

Respond to me separately and to the list.
