Well, I downloaded the tar file without problems (thank you cable modem!)
and I was given an id number to use during the installation. The installation
went without a problem too.

Just after I started up StarOffice I was told that my copy would expire in 30
unless I had a customer and reg number. I thought I had already entered the
reg number???

In any case, I agreed to the online registration. SO provided all the
particulars from the personal data I had already loaded. I hit the send button
and a few seconds later I was registered and provided with a new reg number and
a customer number.

Everything has been working well except for two things.

1. when I changed the printer from the default generic postscript (which worked)
to my IBM 4019 the entire program locked up. BTW, the change took. I've found
out that on my system I can't close the printer setup window without locking up
even if I don't change anything.

2. when viewing jpg's on usenet SO stops displaying the files sometimes. The
only way to get back to displaying is to leave the program and restart. Also,
SO stopped allowing me to save the jpg's by automatically providing the file
name.
