Doesn't sound to me like a hardware problem. This has apparently been
happening with Netscape for a long time, on *various* systems. On my Sun,
for example, it often happens when I scroll (too quickly?) up and down a
file. Never happens on my system outside of Netscape.
I've gotten quite used to the standard procedure: Hit <Stop> A, boot, and let
fsck do its stuff and automatically reboot.
