Well first I must defend support@redhat.com by saying this is definitely
not covered by the support agreement, to my knowledge.
Try turning off MPU-401 support and see how far you can get things.

OK, when you try to access it, what modules load, and what messages are
logged in /var/log/messages?

OK, I think you need to read the manual for your monitor, and feed those
numbers into configX - it sounds like that would be the problem.
