Have you tried looking at the documentation for your cards?  If you have
an IRQ or DMA conflict, the documentation is a good place to figure out
what to do about it.

Perhaps there's a new type of tape drive out there, but I've never heard
of an IDE tape drive, let alone an IDE tape drive that hangs off the
(non-IDE) floppy controller.  If it hangs off the floppy controller,
it's called a "floppy tape", and you should be using the ftape module
in order to use the tape drive.
