More printing problems

When I print (laserjet II or deskjet 660C), I always get a junk startup
page. Any ideas about how to stop this? Also, I tried to set up both
printers using the control-panel. Only lpr works with both. lpr -Plp2
gives nothing.
Here is my printcap. I have a switch box, and both printers are attached
at parallel port LPT1.
