Does /var/spool/lpd/lp2 exist? Since it is just for spooling, and you
can't print to both with the same port simultaneously, you could use the
same spool directory for both. I use a similar setup with two different
printcap entries and it works for me.
To get rid of the "garbage page" add the following line to each entry:
:sh:\
(or click on "suppress header" in printtool).
