I do believe I had this problem when I first installed 2.2.8, but it was
simply a setting in the /usr/lib/rpmrc file or something - it was
definitely not 2.2.8's fault. 2.2.8 has been rock solid here.=20
Also make sure that the SPECS directory and the SOURCES directory are on
the same partition, otherwise RPM won't be able to move the .spec file
over.=20
