	Thanks Dave, I will try to look at the other two consoles.
I am not sure if the problem with the Adaptec 2940 is a kernel problem,
because I was able to install RedHat 3.0.3 without a problem, and all
the kernels I built after that (different versions, 1.2.13 and a bunch of 
2.0.x) had no problem working with the controller...  So this is why I am
inclined to think that there could be something wrong in the boot disk
rather than the controller... although I also understand that it could
be the controller.
	Oh well.. i will keep waiting or try something different.
