I have gtk+-1.0.6 installed as well as the corresponding
gtk+ devel and glibs. I also have installed gtk+-1.1.2
and the appropriate glibs...or so I thought. I used
the -i switch when I installed 1.1.2 and the glibs.
I now have the source for the latest balsa (gnome
mail client) and it requires gtk+1.1.1 or higher. I
also have GIMP 1.0 which requires gtk+-1.0.6.
How can I have both gtk libs and the supporting libs
installed at the same time such that I can compile and
use apps that require either one or the other? I don't
want to break GIMP but I would like to be able to use
apps that require better than gtk+ 1.1.1.
