doesn't seem to help. i'm getting the same problem as before...
i suppose for now i can install X11R6, but my video card doesn't work
well with anything prior to 3.1.2B beta.

will do. when is the expected date of 1.2 being released? and when can
we expect an athena version to follow? (no rush, just curious)
