Oops, it look like I left a DOS partition there from when I was
playing with fdisk under DOS, I was sure I'd nuked that.  Once I
realized that I could do useful things with fdisk from that shell
prompt I was able to change it to a NetBSD partition.  Thanks.

The install is done, and I'm trying t boot.  It appears that some, but
not all of the lossage I described earlier exists with the installed
kernel in addition to the one used for the install itself, so if there
is anyone who can assist I'd appreciate it.
