Expected. (It's a kernel message, so we can't suppress it in the
install script.)

Well, this can happen. If at this point you run "fdisk wd0", you can
look at your MBR and see if you agree with the install script. If you
don't agree, tell us what numbers "fdisk -S" reports (omit the
variable names if you want; we can figure out the order) and we'll see
if we also disagree.
