I borrowed a 3com card from xela in an attempt to get my laptop
installed (see previous mail about my card). I'm still having a bunch
of problems, the first several of which were exhibited with my card,
but I have a few more details on them now:

during the boot process off of the floppy, after
isa0 at mainbus0
is printed the machine hung for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes
after printing some information about wd0 the machine hung
for just over 10 hours.
Afterprinting something about fdc it hung for another hour or two.
Finally it started prompting me for information.

This time it did recognize the ethernet card, so the next problem is
the new one.

It printed
If you have problems blah blah restart by blah blah
and then
wd0: no disk label
Didn't find any NetBSD partitions or blocks of free sectors. You must
free up some space on your hard disk before installing.

Help.
