Hello all!
I am currently in the process of building up a new server for my
department, and have run into a snag. I have a Super Micro motherboard
with an Adaptec aic-7895 SCSI controller (which by itself works fine with
linux) and an Adaptec aro-1130sa RAID card in the RAID port PCI slot. So
far, i have been unable to get linux to reconize any SCSI whatsoever with
the RIAD card plugged in. All it reports is an "UNKNOWN SCSI device". I
have tried all the Adaptec modules without any luck.
I appreciate anyone who can shed some light on this.
Many thanks in advance...

Boy, backups sure are a lot faster since i linked /dev/st0 to /dev/null...
