I believe you are out of luck. A recent message indicated that Adaptec
still refuses to provide any Linux support for their RAID controllers.
Either use software RAID with your 7895, or get a supported RAID
controller such as the AMI MegaRAID (and OEM variants, see
http://www.megaraid.com). Although out of date, some controllers are
listed at http://linas.org/linux/raid.html.
